Aura Sanchez Garrido performs as an actress on Spanish films and television. She's appeared in films as Stockholm as well as the television series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is a Madrid born native of 1989. Tomas Garrido composes music and conducts orchestras, and Pilar Sanchez paints. When she was just four years old, she began the first piano lessons and began to practice ballet. As a child, she was blessed with an English-speaking friend. After finishing her high school studies, she went to the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. There she studied interpretation for three years, specialising in textual translation. However, she left in 2010, when she was offered a role in Planes para manana. The film won her a Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category and also a nomination for the Goya Awards' best debut actress.
