Machine Gun Kelly

MachineColson Baker (born April 22 the 22nd of April, 1990) is a popular American artist and rapper. He is also often referred to as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) as a songwriter, actor and a singer. His fusion of genres of hip-hop and alternative rock is what made him famous. He released four mixtapes from 2007 until the year 2010, after which he signed with Bad Boy Records. He released his debut album Lace Up, in 2012, and peaked at four on the US Billboard 200 and contained his breakthrough single "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his third and second albums. The latter was the one that featured the smash hit single "Bad Things", which was sung by Camila Cabello. It peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album, Hotel Diablo, was an rap-rock album. In 2020, Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album entitled Tickets to My Downfall (2020) came out. It was a departure from hip-hop and a transition to pop punk. The single "My Ex's Best Friend" reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. It was the first rock album to reach this position. The album was followed by Mainstream Sellout (2022) that saw him achieve similar commercial success. He has since appeared in the suspense film Nerve (2016) as well as the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence and the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
